WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Citizenship and Immigration Practice Values

I will simplify what can be a complicated process and will bring the experience of many years of working as a Canadian citizenship and immigration lawyer to the preparation of your application.

I understand how important your application is to you. It is important to me too.

I keep my legal knowledge current. Canadian citizenship and immigration laws and policies are constantly changing.

I understand the decision-making process that the officer will apply on your application, including operational policies.

I will prepare your application using effective advocacy.

I will advise you on the course that best matches your background and objectives.

I will advise you on the probability of success of your application.

Your application will not get stale on my desk. I know that you want to have your application prepared and submitted to the appropriate visa office or other case processing centre as soon as possible.

While no lawyer can deliver faster processing by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (“CIC”) than is available to the general public, complete applications are generally processed faster than incomplete applications, as long as there are no issues that can delay processing. I will advise you on what is required for your application to be complete, and I will ensure that any issues that could delay processing and which are brought to my attention are pro-actively managed, in order to achieve the quickest possible processing in your circumstances.

I will provide you with the level of service that you want – whether it’s a single consultation, walking you through the entire process from start to finish, or something in between.

I will be your representative with CIC and/or Canada Border Services Agency, and liaise with them on your behalf.

My goal is to return your phone calls the same day, and reply to your emails within one business day.
